Writers were recruited from 24 states and given interview forms with instructions to talk to the oldest people in their communities about the lives they had led. This amazing database is the repository of those interviews, along with maps, pictures, and other digitized content. For the first time since then, Emmortality now offers ordinary people an opportunity to record their own life experiences for all time. Internet Archive: The Internet Archive is a repository of text, graphics, and moving pictures among other things. It is an attempt to preserve the art and culture of the world (though much of it is of U.S. origin). Here you can find everything from Charlie Chaplin's films to classic films from Russia, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere. There are also items from collections across the planet. More coming soon... |
